ETL401 Teacher Librarianship

So here we go.  I have created a blog for this subject in which I hope to learn much about the professional practice of being a teacher librarian.

I am hoping that being in Africa for the first few weeks of the semester won't be too much of a hindrance to my studies!

I am looking forward to examining how libraries are being set up in the school campuses in Tanzania - School of St Judes.  They have two primary school sites and a high school.  So it will be an eye opener to how a resource challenged school are able to deliver library services to their students - especially in the 21st century, technologically voracious, in a poor country.
